Christmas in Palm Springs

Before the holiday I tried out the new camera Kristen and Kent gave me for my birthday and went to the wind turbine forest near my house and also a fabulous Pow Wow. I think the camera does a fantastic job. I'm not sure yet about the photographer. The San Jacinto Mountains are in the background. Idyllwild is up there. Right now, there is quite a lot of snow there and in the San Barnardino Mountains surrounding Palm Springs, but it's nice and sunny here. This is the time of year to live in the desert. This summer was more than I want to endure ever again so this summer I will find a place to escape to. I wish I still had the Idyllwild house.
